Bring Team-Up Back to Madden

image_1.img

Sigh, remember on Madden 25 they had a 3v3 team up mode ? Yeahhhhhh, they need to bring that back asap. That was a great mode that gave a different way of playing online against others. I loved the idea that you could team up with your friends and go destroy other players online together. I really hope they bring that mode back for because team up is really an underrated mode on sports video games. Team up can be real fun to play and get REAL competitive as well.

If Madden does come back out with that mode and hopefully they do, I feel like to take things to the next level for Madden they should add a ranking system in 3v3 team up mode. The ranking system would track your stats and grade how you play at each offensive and defensive position. They should also do pick up games where you play with random people and also ranked games where you can come solo or with your friends and each rank game will calculate your wins or loses, stats, and teammate grades. What will really be dope is if you can do a 3v3 online franchise mode. Imagine you and your two friends picked a specific NFL team and you had to play the teams on your schedule that has 3 online players playing with them, you would go through a whole season, play and win through the playoffs and peep this, you and your friends would play three other players for a Super Bowl. Sounds dope right ? Yeah, I’ll leave you with that thought.

Esports League: The Future of 2k ???

nba

Most of y’all know that NBA 2k will debut an esports league that is going to be operated by the NBA for NBA 2k18. The esports league will consist of participating NBA teams having 5 players (us gamers) that they will draft and play for that NBA team. It’s been said that the league will run just like a NBA season and also have playoffs and a NBA Finals as well. All of this sounds real dope for the 2k franchise and im very excited about this new feature.

Now, I have some speculations about how 2k and the NBA will go about operating this league. My main concern is what will be the qualifications to even get yourself in the draft pool ? Do you have to be in the top rankings of MyPark to be considered in the draft ? Will they look at your ProAm record and stats to be eligible for the draft ? We will know in due time I guess. This leads to my next question, will you be playing with the NBA player of that team ? Or will you be playing with your own player ? I’m praying we get to play with our own player. I mean who really wants to play with anyone on the Brooklyn Nets team for a whole season. Now as far as the league goes, will the selected players be playing 82 games like a real NBA season? Will it be where you have to go to a specific location or like a game studio to play your scheduled games, or will you be playing from home ? There is a lot of answers we are seeking about this esports league that we shall know in due time.

With this new feature coming into 2k, will this be a feature for now and the upcoming years for 2k ? I really hope so. It’s been said that the players that will be in the league will be getting paid to play those games. I know we all want to know will it be by salary or hourly and how much lol ? If this league feature is in it for the long run, how do y’all think this  will effect the future of not just 2k, but even the how we go about playing 2k. Will you be the casual 2k gamer that will play the game just to enjoy the existing features and modes of the game ? Will you be more of a competitive 2k gamer that will go into every future 2k game trying to be one of the players that gets to participate in the esports league? We will see.

2k SHOULD KILL MYPARK!!!

imageYes I know kill is a strong word, but that should let you know how deep my frustration is with MyPark. From the messy inconsistent servers, to the annoying players playing with mascots, to the epic fail of MyPark after dark, and to the cheesy players you MyPark cards, MyPark is a mode I feel that 2k should do away with.

Personally, I feel that they should enhance their Pro Am mode. They should keep the scrimmage aspect and how you can create a Pro Am team and play against other Pro Am teams, but give another side to Pro Am. They should do like a Pro Am circuit or like a Pro Am street mode where you can take your player and can play 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, or 5v5 on notorious basketball courts from Venice Beach, to popular rec ball centers, or to the infamous Rucker Park. Players should have that freedom to play at those infamous courts to develop their skills, rep, and gear. Putting a mode like that in the NBA 2k games to come will really take their multiplayer experience to the next level.

Make Madden Great Again…… Please

SUPERSTAR MODE

What year was Madden a really great football game to play ? Don’t worry, I’ll wait. Well for me, Madden 07 was a great game to play in my opinion. The franchise mode was cool, but I know I speak for all Madden heads when I say that the Superstar mode was so beast. It was the #1 reason I got madden, but what happened to it ? Why did EA take the greatest mode Madden had to offer ? It’s funny because as far as a sports game that has a career mode (FIFA, nhl, mlb, and 2K), these sports games are thriving to make the experience of creating your player and going through a journey of what it’s like to be a certain type of sports player. So why did Madden completely ditch the Superstar mode, and why it hasn’t been brought back yet ?

There is no other competition out there as far as another NFL video game and EA had to buy out the rights from 2K after NFL 2K5 dropped, which by the way , the best football game period and it was only $20. So with EA switching to this FROSTBITE engine, please bring back Superstar mode.

PUT SOME FLAVOR IN FRANCHISE MODE

Over the recent years of Madden’s franchise mode, oh excuse me , connected franchise, I feel like they have made little improvement for the mode but nothing major so it can stand out. I remember when Madden had preseason position battles, when you could name the captains of your team, or when you had to hire a head coach, offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, and even a special teams coordinator. Shoot, even when NCAA was out and you had the option to import the draft class into Madden’s draft.

Those little aspects of the older years of Madden is what really made the franchise mode dope. Connected franchise has made steps forward, but I feel like the mode is still very dull and does not have longevity. Madden needs to take notes from 2k as far as franchise mode. 2k’s MyGm mode is a very good mode and they are very detailed and in depth about the awkward of a season in the NBA. From owner goals, to managing operations cost, to having your players talk to you about playing time, losing, winning, etc.  You will never be bored of playing that mode.

Now what if they put some of those features in Madden ? Imagine Madden had a GM mode where you have owner goals to meet, team staff and player morale to manage, and actually hiring a head coach, assistance coach, offensive and defensive coordinator and etc. That would be exciting right ? Madden needs to implement those type of things to bring some flavor in franchise mode. Make the mode exciting and dramatic, have position battles, have players come to you about issues, even have the staff come to you about things. Have owners with different personalities that mesh with the goals they set out for you to accomplish. Let’s bring back letting us choose our team captains and having player morale to bring some excitement in franchise mode. What will definitely put some flavor in franchise mode, that 2k does by the way, is making a custom draft class for every year. It will be so dope to create a player or two or even boosts the attributes of the players of a already custom draft class to really have some studs come out in the future seasons.

These small things can make a BIG DIFFERENCE in franchise mode. So please EA, make Madden great again.

4 Tips to Succed in Last Stand

What’s up my fellow Division agents ? As we all know the 1.6 patch and the Last Stand released Feburary 28th and personally, I feel like this update and Last Stand really put some breath back into The Division that it desperately needed. The division needed a dedicated pvp mode and a Last Stand delivers that…… Thank God. Speaking of Last Stand, I’m going to give you 4 tips I think you should know to be a beast in Last Stand.

  1. COME WITH A SQUAD

Having a squad is very important while playing Last Stand. Having a squad is effective when it comes to communication and assuring that each player has a role to carry out so the team can be successful.
    2. BALANCE PVP AND PVE

Yes, Last Stand is our getaway to own other players in pvp, but you can not get caught up in pvp and neglect the pve aspect of the game mode. Let’s be clear, killing NPC’s are just as important as killing the other team. I’ve lead my team in scoring plenty of times with only having 4 player kills, sometimes even less. Killing NPC’s help with SHD Tech that gets you tactical boosts to get more points for your team.

    3. COME WITH A PLAN

So you came with a squad right ?  So what’s a squad without a plan ? Sounds like a loss to me. A plan is the thing that is going to seperate your team from winning or losing. Now you are playing on the team of you and 7 other players and 9 times out of 10, half the players on your team are heading to capture B. So if everyone is heading to capture B, who is killing NPC’s ? That’s where a good gameplan comes in. What works for me and my team is after we capture home base, me and a squad member will go to a landmark to pve and loot up on SHD Tech, and the other two squad players will go to capture B. Have your team split up the work between pvp, pve, and capturing the objectives.

   4. CAPTURE TACTICAL BOOSTS

After playing Last Stand since the day it dropped, I noticed two key points when it comes to out scoring the opposing team. One, is starting out strong by capturing home base fast and capturing B fast to build up your lead. Two, is capturing those tatical boosts. The point multiplier and the points for kill are very effective. The points multiplier doubles your points and points for kill grants you points when you kill a player or NPC’s. So it’s important to capture one or both of those boosts to build your lead and dominate the other team.

I hope these tips work for you agents so y’all can become a beast in Last Stand. Squad out.
